What to Expect When You Contact Them:

  1. Call the Helpline
    Staff will ask a few questions to determine your needs and refer you to the most appropriate BenePhilly center.

  2. Eligibility Screening
    BenePhilly serves low-income Philadelphia residents. No formal documentation is required for the initial call.

  3. Intake Process
    You’ll be connected to a counselor who will help you apply for benefits, follow up on applications, and troubleshoot issues.

  4. Ongoing Support
    Counselors can assist with renewals, appeals, and navigating multiple benefit systems. Services are free and confidential.
